I tried to practice jEPlus with tutorial and then I want to change parameters.

I practice with "5ZoneAirCooled IDF" (EnergyPlus example) file

i put values [0.1: 0.01: 0.6]

I thought in Preview section i can see [0.1, .011, 0.12, 0.13, 0.14 --- 0.6]

but i only can see the "error" sign.

My question is... (1) how can i set my own parameters? (infiltration, temperature, and U-value.) (2)Is there any standars like it's better to range my parameter? I think i can use "preliminary estimates of uncertainties in model parameters" in journal

5.4 Latin Hypercube Sampling

Latin Hypercube Sampling (see LHS) is implemented in version 1.3. There are some limitations to the current implementation. Firstly, only the parameters in the first branch of the parameter tree are used in LHS. Secondly, if no probabilistic distribution function (PDF) is specified for a parameter, it is assumed to have a discrete distribution with each alternative value having the same probability. If a PDF is specified using @sample syntax, the number of samples param of the parameter will be overridden by the sample size param for the project.

Unlike the standard random sample methods, LHS does not require all jobs being created before taking a sample. It is therefore much faster and appropriate for large projects.

How can I specify parameters?? (just click LHS? )

I change everything but i couldn't change temperature because there's no appropriate space!!!

I tried to run GenOpt (example file) but I found a error sign on the left side of the picture...

1.My question is how can i run GenOpt and see the graph?? ( the error sign!!)

2.I just copied

I think that's because I didn't define rvi file correctly.

Is it right way to define rvi file?

or maybe i put parameter name, description, search tag arbitrary..........

( i only changed parameter item on the left side of the picture)

i mean i didn't change @@~~ @@ in an IDF file.....

i saw " string must not naturally occur in an IDF file" ...........how can i change it.....?

I'm trying to see the results like the picture I attached(maybe to find the best option)

Acutally, I trying to make calibrationa and optimization.

Calibration through jEPlus and optimization throgh GenOpt.

How can I make a graph like below picture?

How can i make a graph from lots of data??

I did LHS(Latin hypercube sampling) 1000 times!

Am I have to choose AllCombinedResults??
