I'm simulating in EnergyPlus a room to analyze different measure to reduce the energy demand. I changed the U- value of simple glazing system, from 5.8 to 3.3 to 1.4, with the same solar heat gain coefficient of 0.8. I thought the cooling demand would have incremental reducing, but it is the opposite: When i have lower u-value, i obtain higher cooling load. I'm working with cooling ideal system. Is there something I am doing wrong? should i check another parameter? i really will appreciate your suggestions.

I'm trying to define in OpenStudio Space Infiltration Design Flow rate, by using a design flow rate parameters of a buildings similar to my study cases. My reference data have the results with 50Pa of pressure difference. I read the engineering reference and don't see any limit to the pressure use for that. (For the case of Effective Leakage area, it is well defined that should be 4Pa) Can i use a flow rate of 50Pa for the simulation? I hope anyone can help me,

I want to model a double windows with its outside layer with wood venetian blinds. I thought that with blind-window-material in Open Studio shoul be the solution, but then i saw an image , where is explained that the software assume this material inside the glass layer, and i would like to put outside.
