I want to define a wood window construction in OpenStudio. Now i'm putting a layer of wood, and defining that is an operable window, but them i'm having problems in the ventilation simulations. If i use ventilation with: wind and stack it say that is an error with the construction set, and if i use design flow rate natural ventilation, it say error * Severe * FenestrationSurface:Detailed="SUB SURFACE 9" has an opaque surface construction; it should have a window construction. How can i define a window construction with wood as material? I will be thankful if you can help me!

You can’t, a window, by definition, is not opaque. You cannot define wood in place of glass.

Are you wanting to define a wood frame? Or you want to define an opaque wood surface, like a door or shutter?

Both are possible, if you want the former, you need to create a complex glazing build up and account for wood material properties in the frame. If the latter, don’t use a window object.
