No, but i ve got a scheduele for cooling for the Zones but actualy no system which can provide that cooling

Hello, i ve got a Zone Air System Sensible Cooling Energy which is higher than zero. although i only have got a hot water coil but no cooling system. How is that possible?

2015-01-22 04:33:06 -0500 commented question Define machines which produce heat

it is a HVAC Systm with Cooling with electricity and heating with gas. When i put i machines the cooling in summer increases but in the winter time i have got a higher gas Consumption when i put in machines. so the influence of the machines in summer is right and seemed logic to me, but not in the winter. i ve go 23 degrees air temperatured defined for the zones.

which part of the idf file do u need?

2015-01-16 10:02:54 -0500 commented question Define machines which produce heat

when i increase the Desing Level from my electric equipment form for example 200 to 8000 that i need more gas for heating than before. i have fraction at 0.5 so half of the heat from my machines goes into the room the rest i used for mechanical work

2015-01-16 09:54:53 -0500 commented answer Define machines which produce heat

With fraction Lost=1 i have 857 Gas and cooling in July 1101 with fraction Lost=0.5 i have Gas 1620 and Cooling in July 60 so with 0.5 some of the heat from the machines is used to warm up the room, which makes sense. But actually i should need more cooling in the summer with fraction 0.5, but here its the other way round?!

2015-01-16 08:55:40 -0500 asked a question Define machines which produce heat

Hello i defined a few machines which produce heat, which is given into the zone. Therefore i Defined the Field. Fraction Lost with 0.5 so half of the energy will be give to the room. I expected that i will than have lesser gas consumption for the zone, but the opposites happens. When i place more and more electric equipment into the zone, the Gas Consumption increase

2015-01-15 11:39:56 -0500 commented answer Define wall which doesnt transfer energy

ok, i designed a building which is connected with another building. Both buildings have the same temperature. In my model is only one of this two buildings. When i define the wall which is conected to the building next to it as adiabatic, would that mean that there is not heat transfer to the outside? Or would it be better to define it with a low U-value?

2015-01-15 10:30:56 -0500 commented answer Define wall which doesnt transfer energy

what do u mean with "it cannot transfer through" If the heat cannot transfer through, then it is the same as a wall with a very low U-Value, isnt it?

2015-01-15 10:00:44 -0500 asked a question Define wall which doesnt transfer energy

Hi, i would like to define a wall as a perfekt wall which doesnt transfer heat. At first i thought i could define them as adiabatic, but later i found out that an adiabatic wall isnt a perfect insulated wall. So does anyone know how i can fix this problem. My only idea at the moment is to define the wall with a construction which has a realy small U-value.

2015-01-13 11:49:35 -0500 asked a question How can I Define the Temperature inside a Zone or Space

Hey,

I've be looking for a field where i can define the temperature inside a zone. Do i define it with schedules? I want to have a constant value in my Zone. This temperature should then be held with my HVAC system. I think it is not a big problem but I just can't find the field in Openstudio.

Thank you very much :)

yes i know i ve already fixed that, but this is not the main Problem

Hello, at the moment i am writting my Bachelor Thesis about Open studio and Energy Plus. when ever i add an HVAC System to my Modle the Simulation doest work. I dont know how to fix that Problem. I ve read the erro file, but i dont find the Problem Here is the Error file:
