After re-installing many times, I solve re-installing sketchup in drive C: (and not in E:). That's all, I solve changing the drive... and this can be good to know. Maybe the installer search ONLY in C: drive by default (?).

Hi all. I encountered a problem with openstudio 1.7.0. The installation process ended with an error message reporting that openstudio can't find sketchup installation folder, so the OS plugin cannot be installed. In some post , this problem is related to the incompatibility between different versions of openStudio and sketchup (32bit/64bit). But in my case, I have installed the 64bit version of both. Oddly, the legacy plugin installed correctly...

ok I apologize for that, Matt. As for my question, however, you have no idea what could be the problem? It seems that the supply-air does not arrive at all, given the percentages of temperature and humidity ... thanks in advance

Thank you for the answer, Matt, your suggestion is correct, but was not able to greatly improve the results...the moisture percentages are still very high. I would like to show some screenshots with the settings of the thermal zone and the system, because even temperatures meet those set by me. So:

1. I create my empty AirLoop, and
2. I added an Outdor Air System,
3. I choose my Thermal Zones
4. In the Thermal Zone, I put an humidstat.
5. The Humidstat has a setpoint, fixed on 50% maximum and 30% minimum (but I try also to change the values : nothing changes)
6. Add a Air Terminal Single Duct Uncontrolled Diffuser ,
7. and finally I place my Unitary System near the OAS

The result is: relative humidity 100% sll the time, never under 80%! I don't understand what i did wrong...

Thank you very much, Kilie. I re-run the simulation and finally I realize that crashs were because of some orphaned objects in HVAC systems . I'm happy to learn that DDY informations are stored in the .osm. Actually I can notate a performance improvement in OS. And yes, "number of design days" and location's informations are listed in the bottom rows. My .osm is still working in OS1.5.2.

Thank you for your answer, Benjamin! Yes, that's exactly what happened. Now I understand why the infiltration settings works properly only for the "run period profiles" (Sunday, holydays etc.) and not for the rest o the year!

Hi All. I'm trying to build a model with a night-time cooling via the facade (Heat that has accumulated day-time is discharged outside of the building at night by means of windows - electrical or normally opened).So I create an infiltration schedule: in the "winter" dayrule I insert normal infiltration value (about 0,3 ACH 24h, or the standard value by percentage of external wall) and the in "summer" day-rule I edit the curve by a factor of ten-twelve times to simulate night-time window opening. After running simulation, I obtain the same infiltration curves both in summer and winter period, what may be going wrong? My impression is that the problem is in the "default" rule, that block the other rules...If so, what I have to put on the default rule? winter, summer or average values?. Thanks in advance!

I have a model created with Open Studio, version 1.5.0. I import this model in 1.5.1 and it was still running, but upgrading on the beta 1.5.2 version, Open Studio won't load DDY file (after I select the DDY, it disappear when I shift to another tab). Now the problem is I have a newer .osm model , and only the older version of the program working. I try to uninstall and reinstall. I try to edit the .osm change the version tag form 1.5.2. to 1.4.0, without results. I know that I was really foolish to run my .osm with a testing version, but ...that has happened , and that file costs a week of work. Please help ! Cesare
