This makes sense. I think I'll try a hybrid approach of what you described and what shorowit suggested above.

Is there a way to get all the os objects and the public member function in some format of data structure? For example, based on the class reference here, https://openstudio-sdk-documentation....

.defaultConstructionSet

.defaultScheduleSet

.renderingColor

.resetDefaultConstructionSet

2021-06-18 01:09:05 -0500 marked best answer outside air control for four pipe fan coil with inlet side mixer and DOAS

Does the OS:AirTerminal:SingleDuct:InletSideMixer provide any outside air control for the zone?

I'm trying to model a DOAS system with four pipe fan coils and osa/return air mixing before supply to the fan coils, using this configuration.

image description

When I check the primary airflow for the inlet mixer, it does not seem to control for minimum outside air for the zone.

The four pipe fan coil object only provide maximum osa input and schedule.

image description

My question is how can I model the system to make sure that the DOAS unit delivers minimum required outside air cfm to the zone? I'm using the latest openstudio v2.8.1.

Energyplus documentation shows there's a "Design Specification Outdoor Air Object" field and "Per Person Ventilation Rate Mode" field. But no input shown in openstudio.

I am using ModelObject:Clone to copy subsurfaces from a different osm model but noticed that it lost the hosting parent object in the new model, i.e. those subsurfaces no longer have it's surface, although the surface, subsurface name and handles are the same between the two models.

Is there a way to copy the subsurface only but keep the same parent object in the model?

Hi, is there a way to output model information to csv through a measure? For example, output all walls on level-1 (I know there are other ways to get this information, just uses as an example here).

I am essentially asking if there's a way to output information that can be shown through RegisterInfo when applying a measure. Instead of just showing these information on the measure window, is there a way to export it to csv or other external file format. Thanks.
