My lab is trying to start calibration of Openstudio models to utility consumption data. I just noticed an updated FY 2017 roadmap (http://nrel.github.io/OpenStudio-user...) which has "Measures for calibration of models to actual data" as a feature under Openstudio 2.3.

Are these planned measures going to be a replacement or improvement on the older Openstudio analysis spreadsheet? Can anyone provide any more information on what these calibration measures would entail? Thanks

Wow thanks @ryocha. I didn't see those threads when searching. The first thread had the answer. My weather file happened to be missing design days.

When you look under the Preferences tab in Show Tools, you can change the number of Max Local Processes.

I think Openstudio uses one less than the maximum number of threads by default.

Hi,

I'm having trouble configuring HVAC systems in Openstudio. I added a 'Packaged Rooftop Air Conditioner', serving my Thermal Zone 2. When I ran the simulation, the error file said:

I set the "Control Zone" to a zone already, so I don't know how to correct the error. Can someone point out my error or what is missing please? Thank you.

I am using Windows 10, 64-bit and Openstudio 1.13

2016-07-22 14:14:45 -0500 asked a question Unable to Register for BCL

I am a new OpenStudio user and I was trying to access BCL per the instructions at http://nrel.github.io/OpenStudio-user...

On the BCL website, I could not find any option to register as a new user. I'm also not affiliated with any of current groups. I emailed support a few days ago.

Does anyone know what the issue is? Thanks
