How to run large simulation using the self-compiled Energyplus.exe

Hi All,

I would like to know how to run large simulation using the self-compiled Energyplus.exe. I followed the Wiki here and successfully built the release version Energyplus. I would like to use the generated Energyplus.exe to conduct thousands simulation. I found that it could only recognize the input files named after 'in' (for example in.idf and in.epw). How can I make it run thousands of idf files of different names using codes? I am using the Windows system and Python or Matlab codes would be good for me.

Any hints,related codes or answers would be appreciated! Thanks!

As far as the command line usage of EnergyPlus, you can provide files names for the simulation using the command line options described in the EnergyPlus Essentials document.
