How to run large simulation using the self-compiled Energyplus.exe

Hi All,

I would like to know how to run large simulation using the self-compiled Energyplus.exe. I followed the Wiki here and successfully built the release version Energyplus. I would like to use the generated Energyplus.exe to conduct thousands simulation. I found that it could only recognize the input files named after 'in' (for example in.idf and in.epw). How can I make it run thousands of idf files of different names using codes? I am using the Windows system and Python or Matlab codes would be good for me.

Any hints, related codes or answers would be appreciated! Thanks!

Terrance
