Hi all, I am doing building energy modeling using energyplus. The data that I gathered is many because of the big building that I modeled. Now, I found difficulty in editing and making schedules in the idf editor because of the many data. Is there a way I can edit values or input values using the MS Excel software? I would like to ask for help. Thank You and God Bless.

thank you Adam for you answer. I downloaded the macro file and installed it in my excel software, but when I used it there is an error in copying to clipboard. Is there any way how to fix this? And one thing also, I see in the program that it need this References: Microsoft Forms Object 2.0, needed for using the Clipboard, what will I do to have this?

If all you need to edit in the IDF is the schedules, go with Jason's suggestion. That is a more straightforward way to do it.

Try EpXL (EnergyPlus-Excel). It's an Excel-based alternative to both IDF Editor and EP Launch. It can handle large models. EpXL's homepage is https://github.com/SchildCode/EpXL
