Hey guys I have a question regarding the water heater stratified object in energyplus.

Is there a maximum temperature or a limit how high the temperature inside the "tank" can get?

I got this from the energyplus Input/Output Reference "This is the time that the entire volume of the tank can be heated from 14.4ºC to 57.2ºC (58ºF to 135ºF) "

Where do the 14.4°C and 57.2°C come from? Is 57,2°C the highest reachable temperature?

I ran some simulations and never got higher than 56,8°C. That's why I wanted to ask you guys how high the temperature inside the tank can get.

This is for the field Indirect Water Heating Recovery Time. The values are arbitrary and only used for sizing the indirect water flow rate (if the tank is heated by another plant loop where it's placed on the demand side).

You should look at Maximum Temperature Limit instead.
