Hi guys, I'm trying a single zone HVAC setting, but as I shown in the topic when assigning PTAC system. Somehow it shows the fatal issue, something like Field〔control zone name〕is required but was blank...

Click on your SPM (the blue "flag" placed on the supply outlet node of your plant Loop). Make sure the "Control Zone Name" is actually filled and matches your connected zone name.

If that still doesn't work, try disconnecting and reconnecting your zone to your AirLoop

Also ensure that your thermal is actually being translated: it must have at least one space assigned, and said space must have some geometry assigned with it. You can open the resulting "in.idf" to ensure the zone does exist.

Thanks to Julien,But I check the "Control Zone Name" again and the assigned thermal zone properties seems well. Somehow couldn't launch simulation in Openstudio.

While checking the idf file, there're some items should be set but unknown, which made me confused. Controller: MechanicalVentilation setting part doesn't synchronize to the control thermal zone and several nodes input are blank as well, should that be filled in? I'm wondering where can I find these setting places in OS.

Thanks for the kind help!
