If you follow the advise from this post you can manually install the OpenStudio SketchUp Plugin for SketchUp 2018. SketchUp 2018 has the same internal Ruby version as SketchUP 2017. As a note there is no SketchUp Make with 2018. That is being replaced with a web based SketchUp that doesn't support Ruby plugins. You can also continue to use OpenStudio with SketchUp 2017.

A future installer will support direct installation of the plugin for SketchUp 2018, I don't know yet if this will be in the December release.
