2015-03-22 21:33:37 -0500 asked a question How to model GSHP / SDHV system in Openstudio?

Hello, I just started learning how to use openstudio from a few months ago, and now I'm trying to utilize the program for my thesis project. The study is about comparing a number of different HVAC system to find an optimal application. As a part of it, I'm trying to model Ground Source Heat Pump and Small Duct High Velocity system. I have tried to search whatever information before, but couldn't find the one. I tried to build the GSHP from Ground Vertical Heat Exchanger which is a ground source, and connected water-to-air HP coils on each thermal zone, and linked each of them to a ground source loop. But it seems that the system doesn't work well, as the result shows significantly higher consumption even compared to a conventional HP. Maybe I missed some steps, and same thing happens when trying to build SDHV system.

Is there any references or tutorials about how to build those system (especially GSHP) in openstudio other than one from "Sizing a Vertical Ground Heat Exchanger with GLHEPro and OpenStudio" ? Any comments are appreciated.
