Could someone help with the following errors? I am new to this but have eliminated 23 errors down to only 3:

  1. Sizing Period Objects
  2. Sizing Zone Input Objects
  3. Sizing Plant Objects

Thank you!

I am having the exact same problem. Was there a solution to this?

2015-03-06 10:42:37 -0500 asked a question Simulation fatal error?

I am trying to run a simulation and am getting multiple errors. Can anyone help with this? I'm not sure how to read this, and I feel like there is a large learning curve. We just need simple environmental energy information as we do not have any mechanical systems yet.

I am getting no data from the simulation.

Sorry about that:

Neal, It seems like you would be able to help me with a similar question...

When running my simulation I am getting this error:

I am trying to run this strictly for environmental energy information. Our building does not have any mechanical systems, etc yet. I am new to this. Please help!

Thanks for your reply. I am very new to this program, but it is starting to make sense now. Everything I knew was from that video, so I was very confused. Thanks!

I am using a Mac and am not seeing the RunManager icon in my OpenStudio toolbar like is shown in every YouTube tutorial I have seen. How do I run simulations within SketchUp if I can't use RunManager? I've linked below to the YouTube video that I want to follow, but my OpenStudio version is not the same. I have OpenStudio 1.6 downloaded.

2015-03-03 14:35:14 -0500 commented answer Why is my OpenStudio file importing at the wrong scale into SketchUp?

Thanks for your reply. So is there no way to go back and edit an .osm file's walls? I need to go back and edit our progress without redrawing the model every time.

Thanks for your comment. That makes sense, but how would I go back and edit the .osm file in Sketchup if it's not complete? When I just launch Sketchup without creating a new .skp file the OpenStudio tabs are greyed out.

2015-03-03 13:51:16 -0500 asked a question Why is my OpenStudio file importing at the wrong scale into SketchUp?

When opening a saved SketchUp file and then importing my .osm saved file, my Open Studio model imports at the wrong scale. For example, my building height was drawn at 8' but the model imports at 8". Am I opening the file wrong?

When I open my SketchUp file, I get this notice:

Removing previously linked OpenStudio content.

Open OpenStudio model at 'Desktop/box1.osm' to restore content.
