Dear all, I updated the mid-rise apartment prototype model from DOE website from version 8.0 to version 9.1. After that, when I run the model, I got severe errors like:

** Severe ** checkSubSurfAzTiltNorm: Outward facing angle of subsurface differs more than 90.0 degrees from base surface.
   ** ~~~ ** Subsurface="TWINDOW14" Tilt = 90.0 Azimuth = 270.0
   ** ~~~ ** Base surface="T EWALL C" Tilt = 90.0 Azimuth = 90.0

Hello everyone, I have a question regarding regulated energy and unregulated energy. Per ASHRAE 90.1-2016, the baseline model for each code year is calculated based on baseline regulated energy cost, baseline unregulated energy cost, baseline performance cost and building performance factor. My question is does the baseline unregulated energy cost should be the same as the proposed building performance cost? Is that the reason why the building performance factor only multiplying with the regulated energy cost but not with the unregulated energy cost

Dear all, I have a question regarding LPD space-by-space method v.s LPD building area method. I would like to know if I use the space-by-space method for the baseline model, do I have to use the space-by-space method for the proposed model or it doesn't matter. This means I can use the space-by-space method for the baseline model but use the building area method for the proposed model. Thank you!
