2016-12-04 06:17:53 -0500 commented answer How to set Seasonal Operation of Radiant Equipment

I encountered the same problem. Could you tell me a little bit more about how to set control temperatures in single heated radiant system? How to set cooling temperatures values in winter? Thank you so much!

2016-11-29 02:59:18 -0500 asked a question Is it possible to generate zone equipment hourly cooling or heating rate if there are some"Temperature-Too-High" warnings about Plant Loop in OpenStudio ?

In my OS model, I used water to water heat pump to supply zone equipment with hot or chilled water. In cooling seasons, fan coils were used as zone terminals; in heating seasons, low temperature radiant systems were used as zone terminals. The simulations were run smoothly but with some warnings, some of them are temperatures too high in Plant Loop or in low temperature radiant system. I added output variables measure and intended to check fan coil hourly cooling rate and radiant system hourly heating rate, however it failed. What's the possible reason? Was it because of these warnings or the capacity of my heat pump too high(My heat pump was set to 33.3Kw while my model max load was only 15Kw)? I don't know why i can't attach my models here.Could anybody help out. It's very urgent thank you guys very much.

Thank you so much! Your response perfectly relieved my doubts about simulation results!

2016-11-23 11:08:48 -0500 asked a question Calculating results of solar collector and Energy Recovery Ventilator are 0

In my OS model, I've added solar collector in Hot Water Plant Loop and Energy Recovery Ventilator in OA Air Loop, however the energy generated or recovered by these two models are 0 in the final calculating results. I couldn't figure out why it happened. I wanna attach my OS file in attachments but I couldn't because of my low hierarchy. Could anybody help me find the problem. This is very urgent and thank you so much.

2016-11-23 11:08:47 -0500 asked a question Anyone knows how to model water to water heat pump in Open Studio?

Do I have to use district heating or cooling to calculate building loads then replace them with water to water heat pump. Beginner's question, thank you so much.
