2016-07-06 17:00:34 -0500 | commented question | Crash deleting zone from model It is a brand new model that I started this week. I'm thinking perhaps the problem originated when I was trying to split one zone into two and instead of creating a new one I used the duplicate button in OS so that all of the properties would remain the same. I'm not having much luck with the diagnostic script, so I will send over the files for you to examine. |

2016-07-06 16:20:08 -0500 | asked a question | Crash deleting zone from model I'm getting an error "Zone has no surfaces" when running the simulation. Which would seem like it has a simple solution of deleting the offending zone, since it has no spaces assigned to it. Unfortunately if I try this (either in OS or in SketchUP) the program crashes. I have gotten the simulation to run successfully by assigning spaces to the buggy zone, but this does me no good because another bug associated with this zone is that I cannot include in HVAC loops as normal. Any idea what could be causing these issues or thoughts on how to delete the zone? |
