OpenStudio versions before 2.0 would run fine, but versions 2.0 and later failed to launch, generating this error message: "OpenStudio has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program." Later, we found the same computer could not launch BEopt 2.7, which would freeze after clicking OK in the startup menu. Both issues turned out to be related to the computer's graphics processor. We are posting the problem and answer in case others run into this. Answer will follow. |
