| 2017-01-19 12:21:03 -0500 | asked a question | How to create design alternatives in Openstudio? I am new to OpenStudio. I have previously done all energy models in Trane Trace 700. I am attempting to model a building for Retro-Commissioning purposes. Is there a way to copy the baseline building and then change entire system types? I have tried using the measures but I do not see a way to completely change a system. In Trace you can create multiple alternatives and adjust systems for each. So far I have only found how to create a model of the building as it exists currently. I would like to see the financial impacts of each alternative. I know this is probably something simple but this is my first OpenStudio project. |
