I want to run an energyplus simulation for a building with slab from command windows. Since the building has a slab, I cannot use typical syntax in command windows (This way). I found this post that running energyplus with RunEplus.bat as a potential solution. I got these errors when I use .bat in command windows:

I can run EnergyPlus with EPlaunch. The OS is windows. I tried with a different version of energyplus but this does not work. My energyplus model is Residential Prototype Building Models from PNNL.

Update: I tried without .IDF and .EPW as well. Also, I copied energyplus.exe and ExpandObjects.exe from the energyplus installation folder. It does not work.

I work with PNNL Prototype Building Models in EnergyPlus. I need hourly indoor and outdoor temperatures in different zones. As you may know, these temperatures should be stored in the ".ESO" file in the output of EnergyPlus models.

The problem that I have is when I run these prototype models, the ".ESO" file is not generated. Should I add any parameter to the model? Do PNNL models that have been used as benchmark energy models generate hourly datasets?

FYI, I use windows and version 9.0.1 of energy plus. I tried with other versions as well, but It did not work. The PNNL sample models are on version 9.0.0. I checked other generated files, but I couldn't find any hourly temperature data.

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Although there is a dual setpoint definition in the model, the HVAC system only works at specific times. How can I change it to only work to keep the temperature between certain range? When I make these lines command or remove them, I got an error.
