So plug in a value in the Taub and Taud location within a range of 0-1.2?

Openstudio has the option for ASHRAEClearSky versus ASHRAETau, which i am trying to use to compare to TRACE 700 but when i set the option to ASHRAEClearSky i get zero fenestration solar load. Has anyone else ran Clearsky and not Tau?

Dan i tried doing that but when i created a subsurface that was larger then the surface it deleted the subsurface. But in Sketchup i can create a loose geometry and project it onto multiple spaces.

Is the project loose geometry feature in Sketchup OS plugin available through the SDK?

I would like to draw a curtain wall spanning multiple spaces using the SDK and have it project on to the spaces.

TRACE gets by with only bringing in Name. I have also not tested to see if the ID stays unique. It is easier to QC import/export like jmcneill indicated if it is based on name. We have floor plans in REVIT we can back check with. The ID is not a reportable item in revit and only comes about during the gbXML exchange process.

When exporting to gbXML from REVIT and importing to OS, instead of space names, surface names or any type of name of entity in OS, the generated iD is instead brought in.

ex. wall name is S-5-106-E-W-11673-W-1 but instead the following name is brought into OS aim275568.

Is there a setting that i am missing to use Names instead of IDs. TRACE 700 parses the correct name and not id.

Dan, that worked i also for some reason didnt have the plugin copy automatically to the folder. Had to manually do it and once the above line was corrected it launched.
