Hi All,

I had to work with illuminance maps some time ago, using Openstudio Application 1.1. At that time I was still able to open the EnergyPlus SQL file using the old ResultsViewer from Openstudio 2.2 to analyze them without any issues. Nowadays I'm working on a building which I need to analyze some illuminance maps. I setup everything as usual: daylight sensor assigned to the thermal zone + map at the space, and when I load the .sql file with the old ResultViewer, it crashes without a log file nor anything. I also tried previous models which I knew were running in previous Openstudio versions, but the generated sql files also crash ResultsViewer.

NOTE: I'm not using radiance as I knew radiance measure is having problems in Openstudio.

What I see is that Openstudio App 1.1 used Energy Plus 9.4 and Openstudio App 1.3 is using EP 9.6. So.. question:

• Could it be the EP9.6 sql files are not compatible anymore with ResulsViewer?
• Did anyone had the same experience?
• Which would be the correct and more up-to-date way to obtain a working illuminance map in OpenStudio/Energy Plus (being able to see the results)?
• Is there any other tool to open the sql files?
