Shading controls are being overwritten by Radiance [OpenStudio]

Hi,

Before I started using Radiance on my OpenStudio model, I setup some shading controls for exterior shades in some subsurfaces of my model. These were working just fine, which I confirmed by adding an EnergyPlus Output Variable called "Surface Shading Device Is On Time Fraction", with changes to the zone air temperature that made sense.

But then I added the 3 required OpenStudio Lighting Simulation objects in SkecthUp for Radiance, so I could visualize some illuminance values throughout the year, and added the Radiance OpenStudio measure. When I do this, the shading controls are always turned off, with the zone air temperatures values back to their "no shading" values.

From my understanding, the glare sensor is the one at blame here because it is the device that can control shading. I set the "Glare Control is Active" as No for the shading control but in this this video (7:46) it is said that the Radiance measure itself has a glare control in the glare sensor. How do I disable this glare sensor control? The Radiance measure won't work without placing a glare sensor and I don't want the shades to be controlled by Radiance.
