Modeling electric thermal storage for demand management

Hello,

How can I model an electric thermal storage system in E+. The system uses electric resistances to heat refractory bricks during the night and discharges the heat stored during the day, either to the heating water loop (hydronic system) or AHU (air system). I'm more interested in the first configuration where it functions alongside a boiler for example. Do I need to create an entirely new code for this? Any insight on where to start?

Thanks
