Thermal energy storage Chilled Water Tank With multiple chillers

I am modeling a central chilled water plant with a stratified chilled water thermal storage device in OpenStudio. There are multiple chillers in the central plant. My question is how would I set up the tank to be able to be charged by multiple chillers within the plant loop? According to the plant application guide, the TES tank should be placed on the outlet of the chiller object, if I do this then only that chiller is able to charge the tank. My thought was to either: 1. Create two separate loops. The first loop would have the chillers on the supply side and the TES tank on the demand side. the second loop would have the TES tank on the supply side and the load on the demand side. Is there any drawbacks to this? 2. Use multiple TES tank objects with smaller capacity on the outlet of each chiller. This doesn't seem like a good workaround but I don't see another way to model the TES Tank with it being connected to multiple chillers.
