Shading and window operation based on Operative Temperature

Hi all,

Currently the E+ objects for ShadingControl and Natural ventilation (both AFN and Simple Ventilation objects) are controlled based on air temperature - among others.

With more attention given to Thermal comfort, thermal mass and radiant systems, it would be very helpful to have the option to control these E+ objects based on Operative Temperature.

At least on the European side, more and more regulations are implementing overheating targets based on indoor operative temperature, which creates a small controversy when elements such as shading are operated based on indoor air temperature. I know this can currently be done via EMS, but it takes a long time to set it up for large models, and can be prone to human error.

Is this the right place for such a request, or should I go on E+ Github?

Thanks! Rafael

Actually, it would be fantastic if the window/shading operation could be linked to the Thermal comfort models already implemented in E+.
