Is there any examples of how to develop a new component model in E+?

I am trying to model a new storage system in E+, I've consulted the different documentation, I saw it uses Fortran and the Erl for EMS functionalities. I've gathered some of the 'ingredients' needed to do this from the different E+ documetations but it seems extremely complicated for me to piece everything together. I also saw in this forum that E+ moved to C++ but there is no documentation for that. Are there any complete examples or online training on how to implement this in E+.

Thank you
