Central air-to-water gas absorption heat pump for domestic hot water

What is the best way to model a central air-to-water gas absorption heat pump for domestic hot water in a multi-family residential building using the OpenStudio application? I think the best option would be a HeatPump:PlantLoop:EIR:Heating object in a primary loop connected to the service water loop via a storage tank (OS:WaterHeater:Mixed with 0 kBtu/hr). Then, I would manually convert the electrical usage to gas usage in a spreadsheet outside of the OpenStudio. However, it seems that HeatPump:PlantLoop:EIR:Heating objects are still not supported in the OpenStudio application. I see that NREL's openstudio-standards includes a file called "Prototype.CentralAirSourceHeatPump.rb," but if that is my best option, how do I implement that as an OpenStudio measure in the OpenStudio application?
