Faster OpenStudios Simulation Time

Hi, would anyone have any advice on how to run a faster Openstudio Simulation? I am currently trying to evaluate a lot of window configurations to see how they effect a buildings cooling and heating loads.

As the average time for a given simulation is currently 5min 30seconds, I was hoping to find a better way to speed up this iterative process. The Simulation is quick to get to 66% completion however takes an extended amount of time as it gets to "Updating shadowing calculations" and "Continuing Simulation for RUN PERIOD 1".

Additionally if anyone knows of a great window component that will limit as much UV transmission into building environment that you could recommend I would really appreciate it. Any help would be great! Thank you
