EvaporativeFluidCooler:TwoSpeed With Constant CENTRAL TOWER:Cooling Tower Outlet Temperature

Hi,

I conducted the simulation for ASHRAE ApartmentHighRise Prototype. I exported CENTRAL TOWER:Cooling Tower Outlet Temperature and found it is always 30 C in the cooling mode. EnergyPlus only uses PLANT LOOP HIGH TEMP SCHEDULE with 30 C leaving water temperature. Does anyone have insight on why it should be constant?

Schedule:Compact, PLANT LOOP HIGH TEMP SCHEDULE, !- Name TEMPERATURE, !- Schedule Type Limits Name Through: 12/31, !- Field 1 For: Alldays, !- Field 2 Until: 24:00,30; !- Field 3

SetpointManager:Scheduled:DualSetpoint, Water Loop Setpoint Manager new, !- Name Temperature, !- Control Variable PLANT LOOP HIGH TEMP SCHEDULE, !- High Setpoint Schedule Name PLANT LOOP LOW TEMP SCHEDULE, !- Low Setpoint Schedule Name CENTRAL TOWER OUTLET NODE; !- Setpoint Node or NodeList Name

Thanks, Shaojie
