Ventilation system with heat recovery and summer bypass

Together with a fellow student, I try to simulate an existing home in Belgium with a radiant heating and cooling system and a controlled mechanical ventilation system with heat recovery. Also a summer bypass has to be implemented especially at night (so that night cooling is possible). This is to not worsen the impact of the hot weather, continue to ventilate and provide good levels of fresh air, without using the heat recovery. According to the output of our current model is the zone indoor air temperature during the night much higher than the outdoor air dry-bulb temperature. We think that in our current model the summer bypass does not work.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to implement a ventilation system with heat recovery and summer bypass possibility?
