open a 3D CAD model in sketchup however the number of the spaces and the thermal zones were zero

I have modelled a building in AutoCAD as a 3D model, and when I imported to the SketchUp, I tried to rename the thermal zones. Moreover, I used the inspector to check the spaces and thermal zones and found them zero. Is there any way to include the spaces and thermal zones in my model? and can I import the CAD file directly to energyplus?
