Importing saved IFC-Files without a BIM-Server

Hello,

for educational purposes, i need to open an IFC-File in OpenStudio. This File is an example file provided by the university and does not run over a BIM-Server. However, as i want to import said IFC-File, at first i have to connect to a BIM-Server, which inhibits opening the file, since I do not know any BIM-Servers or have the right to access one. Is there a way to avoid registering a BIM-Server?

Thank you
