How to simulate the penetration of contaminants (Particulate Matter) via infiltration

Hello,

I want to use the generic contaminant simulation to simulate the penetration of Particulate Matter (PM2.5 and PM10) from outdoor air to indoor spaces. The standard equation does not taking into account the reduction of the particles when they penetrate via the building fabric. More specifically this reduction is around 20% which is considerable.

I have found some studies that changed the standard GCA pollutant transport model equation and implemented into a custom version of EnergyPlus (e.g. Martins and Carrilho da Graça - 2017) , but I cannot understand how to do that.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance.
