BEOpt file path error

I'm getting the following errors when attempting to run BE opt on a Win 10 PC
/9/6/2019 3:05 PM: 1.xml: 'Deborah\AppData\Roaming\BEopt_2.8.0\TEMP1\PROC1\' is not recognized as an internal or external command, 9/6/2019 3:05 PM: 1.xml: operable program or batch file. 9/6/2019 3:05 PM: 1.xml: The system cannot find the path specified. 9/6/2019 3:05 PM: 1.xml: The system cannot find the path specified. 9/6/2019 3:05 PM: 1.xml: The system cannot find the path specified. 9/6/2019 3:05 PM: 1.xml: '"C:\Users\Steve EnergyPlusPROC1.exe"' is not recognized as an internal or external command, 9/6/2019 3:05 PM: 1.xml: operable program or batch file. 9/6/2019 3:05 PM: 1.xml: The system cannot find the path specified. 9/6/2019 3:05 PM: 1.xml: The system cannot find the path specified. 9/6/2019 3:05 PM: 1.xml: Access is denied. 9/6/2019 3:05 PM: 1.xml: Could Not Find C:\Users\Steve & Deborah\AppData\Roaming\BEopt_2.8.0\TEMP1\PROC1\Energy+.ini
The user name on this PC is 'Steve & Deborah' and I think the spaces are confusing things. The user directories are set up with this user name and the first 2 messages do not have the right path. The path in the final message is correct but the .ini file is not there.

I've installed on another PC with user name 'Steve' and it runs fine.

I've reinstalled and specified 'Steve' as the user name in the install dialog but this doesnt help. I've moved between hard drives, rebooted, reinstalled but no dice.

I really want to run BEOpt on the 'Steve & Deborah' PC, the 'Steve' one is very slow. Any suggestions?
