Adjusting existing OpenStudio space geometry

Hi There,

I started using OpenStudio with the SketchUp Plug-in recently, and I am working on my first few models. I believe I need some basic help here.

I created my model, a 1 floor warehouse (20' ceilings) with a 2 floor office (10' ceilings) located at the corner of the building. As I am exploring, I went to change the geometry of the 2 floor office space and found that when I edited the geometry, the original space (shown by the blue outline) remained the same.

Does this indicate that the 2nd floor office space geometry as recognized by OpenStudio did not change with the geometry?

I have been playing around with new models (create basic geometry without any other changes at all), and found that sometimes the blue outline changes with space and sometimes it doesn't...I think it may have something to do with the Surface Matching but the blue outline seemed to remain and change during tests even if Surface Matching was performed.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Should you be able to alter geometry during any point of your model creation?

I am using SketchUp Make Version 17.2.2555 64 bit and OpenStudio 2.7.

Thanks!
