Airport Energy Modeling

Hi,

we are simulating an entire Airport in order to get its energy performance. The project is pursuing LEED v4 certification (that uses ASHRAE 90.1-2010 for baseline building characteristics). Our scope is the terminal building + airside + landside.

Do you know of any tips we might consider in such a job?

We are particularly in need of help in what relates with process energy loads (baggage handling systems, computers and screens, ground power units, pre-conditioned air units, runways and taxiways lighting, etc) since it is difficult to estimate accurately energy use associated with these loads. Do you know of any reference we can use as a default to account for these energy uses?

Thanks in advance,
