Influence of surroundings in the Surface Heat Balance

I'm trying to modelated a building in OpenStudio, but i can't understand where i have to define the influence of the surrrounding on the envelope heat balance. For me looks like that the shading surface, have only influence the shade, but not in the solar radiation reflection. There is any option in OpenStudio where i can define the surroundings features? I would be thankful for any suggestions about it.
