Heat gain in walls and roofs

I'm modeling a building in OpenStudio and i would like to know how can i determine the heat gain in walls and roofs in W/m^2. Because i'm interested in doing a comparative between differents materials for walls and roofs and determine the best material that had less gain of heat. Thank you
