Which should I choose to run PAT in Amazon EC2?

Hello.

Now I am considering to use a cloud computing by EC2 in PAT. Before starting (I have not had an account yet), I would like to check how much it will cost after a year use of AWS. In the price page, there are many types of pages. Which should I choose for estimation?

At first, there are several OSs, including Linux, RHEL, SLES, Windows, Windows with SQL standard, etc. For PAT, are there any requirements for OS? Next, there are many types of instances like t2.nano, m5.large. I think those are related to the computing speed, but if you have any experiences about those.

I am not familiar with the cloud services. So, I would be very happy for any kinds of your comments.

Thank you.
