I am planning to model occupancy in rooms of our school and would like to know how others model the in and out of people in each room. Right now, I'm thinking of 2 lasers and LDRs at the end. Do you know a better way?

This is to be used for the overall energy modeling of the building to be validated by the actual readings. Do you know a better way?
