geometry editor functionality

So, I am trying to use the Geometry Editor in OS 2.4.0. I imported the floor plan PNG for the first floor and and sized and located is as necessary, assuming the units shown are in [ft] and not [m]. Then I moved on to the second floor and imported its floor plan PNG. However, I find it very difficult to now size and locate it so that it is on top of the first floor plan. It would help to be able to enter scaling factors somehow, and to pin a point on a floor plan, rather than just a corner of image, all while being zoomed in and not having to zoom out to grab a corner of the image. Is there more functionality to this than described on the website?
