Sketchup Euclid vs OpenStudio Plugins

What are your experiences with using Euclid versus the OpenStudio plugin for Sketchup to create geometry for use in EnergyPlus natively?

The create spaces from diagram feature in the OpenStudio plugin is extremely useful and allows floor plates to be built up quickly. But I've heard that Euclid creates cleaner geometry.

What are other pros and cons for each?

To clarify- I am not asking about the difference between the standalone OpenStudio application and EnergyPlus. I'm only curious about geometry creation.

What are your experiences with using Euclid versus the OpenStudio plugin for Sketchup favorite ways to create geometry for use in EnergyPlus natively?natively and what are the pros and cons for each? Options that I can think of are:

The create

  1. Euclid plugin for Sketchup - slower to use since zones must be created individually
  2. OpenStudio plugin for Sketchup - "create spaces from diagram feature in the OpenStudio plugin is extremely useful and diagram" allows floor plates places to be built up quickly. I've quickly
  3. Design Builder - if you already have a license

I have heard that Euclid creates cleaner geometry, though I find it geometry and is slower since zones must be created individually.less error prone than the OS plugin. Can anyone confirm if they have had this experience?
