Modeling Primary-Secondary Chilled Water Pumps in OpenStudio

I am modeling an all variable speed chiller plant in OpenStudio. The chilled water pumps are designed in a primary-secondary configuration with the pumps connected to their respective headers. This arrangement can be implemented in EnergyPlus but I want to do this in OpenStudio 1.6. However, the commonpipe (for primary-secondary configuration) and headered pump objects are not yet supported in OpenStudio as far as I know, but I understand this can be done using measures. Has anyone encountered this situation? Any guidance is highly appreciated particularly in writing the measures to access the cited EnergyPlus objects from OpenStudio. Thank you.
