What would be the reason for the values of the output 'Surface Window Transmitted Solar Radiation Energy' for all the retrofitted windows to be exactly the same between 2 exact same models with just one difference: one has single glazing and the other double (Tinted, Spectral Selective, with Argon in between)?
The documentation defines this output as:
The amount of beam and diffuse solar radiation entering a zone through an exterior window. It is the sum of the following two variables, “Surface Window Transmitted Beam Solar Radiation Rate” and “Surface Window Transmitted Diffuse Solar Radiation Rate
My thought is that if the double glazing is both tinted and spectral selective (leave alone the fact that is double) shouldn't it transmit less energy?
I also checked the temperature inside the zones that they surround and the double glazing is indeed having a positive effect on their insulation.
