Does the "Stack effect" consider the unwanted air vortexes?

In openstudio I'm using the stack and wind effect in order to simulate a crude natural ventilation. I would like to know if this measure takes into account the unwanted vortexes of air (that can make fly the papers or can create uncomfortable situations) inside the thermal zones. thanks
