Geometry diagnostic steps in after reopening file

Hello everyone! While doing few modifications on my OpenStudio model, I save it. And after reopening the .osm file, it only generated geometry of the model. It shows no surfaces, just the frame of the model. Is there a way to solve this problem?

Although my problem has been answered here: https://unmethours.com/question/1646/geometry-diagnostic-steps-in-openstudio-sketchup-mode/?comment=21006#post-id-21006 , I didn't achieved to understand and make the code work to fix it. I'm not very familiar with code, so I got a few issues to run this. I made an array of all SketchUp entities within groups by copying the code that @macumber shared. But after for the loop, I don't know what to put, which face to pic. I commented on it and didn't have any response, so I'm trying here instead because its blocking me in my project.

Thank you very much in advance for your answer!
