Legacy Open Studio 1.0.14 and Sketch Up 2016 Surface Matching not working

Hi, I'm using Legacy OpenStudio 1.0.14 and SketchUp 2016, and am having trouble with surface matching. When I build two zones (just plain square boxes, correct in dimensions and touch correctly etc.) then open the Surface Matching dialog and select Match In Entire Model/Selection, the surfaces don't match correctly. When I turn the model onto the blue boundary condition render, and switch to wire frame, the surfaces do go green when matched, but they flicker. When I go and individually look at the surfaces, some correctly list outside boundary as "Surface", but others still say "Outdoors". I've tried Unmatching and Rematching, starting new blank files, and even just doing simple test constructions and it happens in all of them. It's also a consistent problem between my University computer (server based) and my personal home computer. Any old file I open is correctly surface matched, and if I unmatch and rematch does it correctly, but as soon as I start drawing new zones in it they won't match correctly.
