Rhino to SketchUp for OpenStudio

Rhino has the ability to export AutoCAD file types [.dwg/.dxf] and 3DS Max files [.3ds], both of which can be imported into SketchUp (pro version is needed for dwg/dxf). I have also heard there is a Rhino to SketchUp plugin available, although I haven't worked with anyone who has used it before.

Is there a preferred/optimal format or workflow for Rhino to SketchUp? What success or failure have you experienced trying to export Rhino to SketchUp to use OpenStudio? Are there certain export settings (NURBS to mesh, other?) that are critical to success?

As with most 3D Model->BEM or BIM->BEM transfers, some level of clean up or re-work is a given.
